I’m Vivekananda Reddy Godala — Vivek. I live in Karlsruhe, work as a DevOps working student at 1&1 Mail & Media, and study Web & Data Science at the University of Koblenz. At work I help my team keep log pipelines and Kubernetes clusters running — the kind of engineering where you notice everything you took for granted the moment it breaks.
What actually drives me is taking an idea the whole way: from “what if” to something with a URL that strangers can use. That’s why my evenings produce things like a startup-idea directory, a live map of Germany’s power grid, and OCR that runs entirely in your browser — each one an excuse to learn a corner of the stack properly. Lately the rabbit hole is language engineering: I’ve built a small language and a language server, and I’m fascinated by how much a compiler can catch before a human has to.
When I’m not shipping something, I’m usually writing about what I learned on the notes page, or slowly winning my fight with the German language — B1 in progress, Anmeldung vocabulary already battle-tested.
If any of this sounds like your kind of engineering, say hallo: vivekanandareddygodala@gmail.com.
